I like this concept, because five just happens to be my favorite number. I was one of five siblings, and that's the number of children God gave my husband and me as well. Five is awesome; high fives to that--high fives all around!
So in honor of the number five, here's a favorite photo of my five favorite offspring (it's a five-way tie, no matter what any one of them might try to tell you when the others aren't listening).
1, 2, 3, 4, and 5: Five Favorites.
For all of you darling young "mommy bloggers" out there, here's this mommy-turned-grammy blogger's experience: I blinked, and these five boys turned into five men.
If you head on over to Hallie's, you might actually see some other bloggers' five favorite beauty products worth buying, or five favorite books worth reading, or five favorite recipes worth trying...Here, you're just getting a whole lot of motherly pride, times five. Go on, then. Over to Hallie's with you.
Those ties are fabulous - I particularly like the plaid shirt and... bulldog tie? Is that what it is? Lovely coordination :)
ReplyDeleteYes, those are bulldogs! My boys went through a definite "loud tie" phase, and we had some real winners back in the day. Lots of sports-themed and animals-themed ones.
ReplyDeleteCoordination of shirts and ties was never very important to them. But I find it every endearing when a guy isn't overly fashion-conscious. :)
*make that very endearing!
DeleteHahaha! Clever...
ReplyDeleteIsn't your future husband handsome in this picture? I remember some little old ladies at the church for the Baptism that day ooohing and aaahing over him. :)
DeleteThis is great! I just love when you post pics of your boys.
ReplyDeleteI do it a lot...I can't help it!
DeleteI'm partial to the one in the smiley face tie :)
ReplyDeleteHe was a cutie! And that tie totally fits his personality, doesn't it?
DeleteCute! Great choice for 5 favorites :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, Beth! :)
DeleteThis is a PERFECT 5 favorites!! I love their jazzy ties - the boys ask almost every Sunday if they can wear a tie to Holy Mass (I don't ever see kids wear ties anymore, but who cares!), and I think it's so cute. What a treasure!
ReplyDeleteI always LOVED it when my boys wore ties!
DeleteIt's funny, they had the choice at their Catholic high school to wear either a dress shirt and tie or the approved polo shirt with the school's logo on it--and surprisingly, four out of the five opted for the shirt and tie pretty much every day. They looked so sharp!
Aw, so sweet! Considering I linked up with five pictures of my one child, I think this is perfect!
ReplyDeleteOh, this gave me goosebumps, the "became 5 men" part....Fun photo!! I totally thought Wednesday was Tuesday. Memorial day goofed me all up.
