Postcards from San Juan

As you may know (if you stopped by here yesterday), I took a quick trip to San Juan with my husband.  It was a short, but very sweet, little vay-cay.

We took in the local scenery.
And the local vegetation.
And the local wildlife.
And then we relaxed and toasted one another with a local beverage on our little hotel balcony.
All in all, it was a very good day!

Now, back to the real world: that frozen tundra better known as New England.

  1. All right, THAT's where I need to be around the second week of May (although a two week vacation would be ideal after this semester...). I hope you bring some sunshine home with you :-)

    1. Well...we're home, and the snow banks at our house still have a long way to go before they're melted. But winter can't last too much longer, right? And haven't you guys had a tough one in VA this year, too?!

Good luck with your end-of-year (end-of-college) studies and tests!

    2. We've had a more severe winter than what we're accustomed to here in Virginia, but I'm not sure it begins to compare with New England winters! And Spring seems to finally be arriving (just the other day, I told my sister I thought Virginia is now in whatever season comes between winter and spring).

Thanks for the well-wishes as I wrap up my college career! This is my student-teaching semester, so tests are replaced by final presentations. (Although my introverted self would almost prefer test anxiety to public speaking...)

      God bless!

  3. I am so jealous! Chicago has been brutal and I could definitely go for a vacation right about now.

As soon as my husband finds a job, I'm going to go somewhere awesome - even if he can't come. Haha.
